We didn't let the cat out of the bag!

Idiotica, makers of this website you’re reading here now, last month won a victory against the Cat-Name Protection League over a "gagging" order which was never really needed actually at all even.

Lawyers on behalf of the Cat-Name Protection League (henceforth CNPL) obtained an injunction preventing Idiotica from naming four cats, despite our very public pledge NOT to name them at all.

Idiotica challenged the order, and the Cat-Name Protection League lawyers yesterday folded, dropped, and went off in their arms, their actions and a huff respectively.

The Cat-Name Protection League now has to pay Idiotica's legal costs as well as its own, totalling an estimated £14.50, from its charity fundings.

Recently our legal manager (and resident hairs expert) Osbourne Bark said this:

"Idiotica has never identified felines of any sort and we have no intention of ever doing so. If the CNPL (that's the Cat's Name Protection League) had made a simple phone call we would have told them that then."

The four cats we have no intention of naming are:
Bingle (from Croydon)
Lefty (from Fife, pictured)
Tinkle (from Oxford) and
Paul (from London).
