Naughty but FRIED SLICE

Fried bread is a great source of fun. Some people see a fried slice as an un-necessary indulgence on the breakfast plate, those people are wrong.

To have toast instead of fried bread is wrong too, and very.

Frieds and slices are breads cooked in fat, on both sides of. They soak up all the fatty goodness into themselves and also go a little bit nice around their edges for you and for me.

White bread is best for this sort of thing, and a hot pan, both even. They can be cooked in the fat from sausages or bacons, but butter will do, just make sure there's lots of it, fat splashing round.

If you leave a raw bread out to go moldy you get penicillin; but if you leave a fried slice out you just get fat ants.
